I am new to this occupation and find that my colleages have many differant interpretations of the road rules and how they are applied. I seek clarification on the correct use of the following infringement codes.
1. 745
2. 747
3. 706
I am also a little confussed about 771 and 772 verses 627 as they appear to cover the same offence.
What happened to 622?
Please help!!!

G'Day Spyder,
All codes refer to a specific road rule.
Code 745 refers to vehicles not parked in the direction of travel on a two way road or one way road and relates to Road Rule 208 Parallel Parking on a road ( except a median strip parking area )
Code 706 "Contrary to the requiremnts of the parking area" is specific only to Road Rule 209 Parallel Parking in median strip parking area. There are three requirements, one of them is "must park in the direction of the flow traffic to left of the driver."
Code 747 refers to Road Rule 208(1)(4) " Not as near as practicable to the far left side of the road in a one way road. "
Code 622 refers to Road Rule 208A Parallel Parking in a Road Related Area. It relates to a vehicle that has breached the condition of this rule; one of them being, must face in the direction of travel.
Code 771 772 and 627 relate to Road Rule 190 Stopping in or near a Safety Zone.
Code 771 is specific to "stopped within 10 meters BEFORE a Safety Zone.
Code 772 is " stopped within 10 meters AFTER a Safety Zone.
Code 627 is used instead of the old code 808 "within a SZ"
